Family planning services 

Advice and information is available on all types of contraception including fitting of the coil by certain doctors.  We currently do not offer contraceptive implant fitting but please ask if you have any queries in relation to these services.

Sexual Health

The surgery offers screening for sexually transmitted infections without the need for an intimate examination

Antenatal Clinics

These are held in both Priory and Springhill. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

Baby Clinics 

These are held in both Priory and Springhill. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

Cervical Smear Clinics

These are held weekly by appointment. All women up to the age of 50 are encouraged to have a smear test every three years or between ages 50 - 64 every five years. 

Asthma Clinics

These are ran by our practice nurse, Jane. She will check on inhaler techniques, give information and help the doctors with any follow up care required.

Diabetic Clinics

Appointments are sent out to diabetic patients at the doctor’s request throughout the year.

Test Results

Please call between 2.00pm and 4.30pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times, and results often come through over lunchtime. 

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

Travel Vaccinations

If you are planning to travel to a destination which requires travel vaccinations please arrange a consultation with a private travel clinic of your own choice.  The clinic will provide you with a list of any travel vaccinations that they recommend for you. 

WE CANNOT PROVIDE VACCINATONS WITHOUT CONFIRMATION FROM THE TRAVEL CLINIC OF THE RECOMMENDED TRAVEL VACCINATIONS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Some vaccinations can be given on the NHS and can be arranged to be given in our treatment room (you may also need to arrange a prescription to obtain the vaccine from your pharmacy).  

For any non-NHS vaccinations these should be arranged with the travel clinic.

NON NHS SERVICES

It is not possible to provide all services under the National Health Service.  Other Non-NHS services may incur charges.  If you have any concerns about the fee involved, please discuss this with your doctor prior to requesting the service.The table below lists the Charges that this practice applies. Unfortunately, in order to be fair to all patients, there are no exceptions to the charges.
